Addiction is a complex, chronic brain condition influenced by genes and the environment that is characterized by substance use or compulsive actions that continue despite harmful consequences.
For a long time, addiction meant an uncontrollable habit of using alcohol or other drugs. More recently, the concept of addiction has expanded to include behaviors, such as gambling, as well as substances, and even ordinary and necessary activities, such as exercise and eating.
Addiction is a Disease. An endless loop of self-centered, obsessive, compulsive routine of dependencies(drug, alcohol, weed, sex, gambling, gaming etc.) that leads no-where but results in physical, mental, spiritual, emotional, economical and prestige decay.
If you know your peer person properly, then you also know that he/she don't listen to anybody. He/she is self-obsessed. This person cant even control own thoughts, feelings, actions. They are always blaming and they always know everything, but a complete failure to apply the knowledge that they claim to know .They are always likely to be alone and with bad-companies. They always think that they are inadequate, confused about what they don't have ,or what they want to have, failing to care for what they have. As a whole their self-will runs riot in their life.
we simply take time to stable the mind and nature of living of the suffering addict as well as the mentally impaired.Midnapore Hope Society Video1 Midnapore hope society video2 Midnapore Hope Society Video3
Rehabilitation opens up many new possibilities and achievable goals that once seemed impossible. Those in recovery have to prepare for the changes in their lifestyle and how it will affect them in their social lives. At first, entering a sober life often means coping with boredom, loneliness, or helplessness. Activities that were once centered on using drugs or alcohol may seem boring in recovery. But there are many drug and alcohol-free activities that can provide a mental and social recovery. We guide them through the process of understanding self and others.
The treatment period will be of 6 to7 months in house after that the patient goes into follow up.
In this period of time we detoxify the patient , they will have regular classes and in time visit from the family members. We also provide healthy refreshment and daily counseling... after a certain period of time the person will start realizing about his wrongdoings and about his reality...we help them to develop a better thinking process.

It’s not easy to know what to do or say, but the stakes are high—you may literally be saving a life.
Keep these guidelines in mind for your conversation:
Do . . .
Bring up the issue when the person is sober
Express your concern in a caring and honest way
Talk about the effect the drinking or drug use has had on whatever he or she cares most about: career, children, sports, physical health
Have a support person with you or available by phone
Don’t . . .
Bring up the issue when the person is drunk or high

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is commonly referred to as CBT. As a type of psychotherapy or "talk therapy," CBT can help you identify and replace negative thoughts and behaviors with more positive and useful ones. Considered a "time-limited" form of therapy, CBT guides patients in quickly adapting new insight, tools and techniques to modify negative thoughts and feelings.
Here at Midnapore Hope Society we use CBT techniques to treat a variety of psychological and behavioral health issues, including co-occurring mental health and substance abuse disorders. People with depression, anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder, bipolar disorder, eating disorders and other mental health challenges have been shown to benefit from this type of therapy.
What we follow:
1. Regular sessions (Four times a day) of Prayer & Meditation.
2. Regular physical exercise classes and advice in breathing retraining.
3. Regular counselling from qualified and experienced counsellors to improve thinking patterns that contribute to anxiety or negative feelings. The therapist teaches helpful cognitive and behavioral techniques for modifying thought patterns to reduce feelings of distress or anxiety that leads to substance abuse.
What is Group Therapy?
A session might begin with members of the group introducing themselves and sharing why they are in group therapy. Members might also share their experiences and progress since the last meeting.
Group therapy is a form of psychotherapy that involves one or more therapists working with several people at the same time. This type of therapy is widely available at a variety of locations including private therapeutic practices, hospitals, mental health clinics, and community centers.
Group therapy is sometimes used alone, but it is also commonly integrated into a comprehensive treatment plan that also includes individual therapy.
What is Psychotherapy?
Psychotherapy, or talk therapy, is a way to help people with a broad variety of mental illnesses and emotional difficulties. Psychotherapy helps eliminate or control troubling symptoms so a person can function better and can increase well-being and healing.
Problems helped by psychotherapy include difficulties in coping with daily life; the impact of trauma, medical illness or loss, like the death of a loved one; and specific mental disorders, like depression or anxiety. There are several different types of psychotherapy and some types may work better with certain problems or issues. Psychotherapy is used in combination with medication or other therapies.
